The London Booster
THE LONDON BOOSTER | 2012
The London Booster sculpture was created to mark the anniversary of the Summer Olympic Games on London in 2012. During the Olympic Games, the sculpture was located in front of the so-called, Czech House. This was established in London’s Business Design Centre building. The sculpture depicts a typical London double-decker with human elements. Strong limbs protrude from the sides of the bus, by which it moves up and down. For it to be adequately authentic, during the push-ups, the bus also groans. Its rear section is depicted a a human backside.
The bus does push-ups everyday from 15:00 to 15:30 Hours. However, the temperature must not drop below 5°C.
Did you know that...
The bus that was used to make the sculpture never operated in London. But it was real vehicle from 1958, which used for public transport in England.
